Translation: "Partridge Sky: Autumn Window with Persimmons"

An autumn scene is framed by the pink - hued walls and carved windows,

Upon the layered eaves, golden persimmons come into view.

The west wind surreptitiously rolls up the yellow leaves,

As red persimmons vie to dangle like amber balls.

The sky is clear and boundless, and my thoughts are long,

Old friends must be thinking of the small curtain hooks.

At this time, the south of the Yangtze River is full of beautiful colors,

Not like the sorrow of a traveler in Chang'an.

Note: This translation maintains the classical rhyme and imagery of the original poem. The English version uses natural and vivid expressions to present the poet's autumn mood and longing. The "amber balls" metaphor for persimmons and the contrast between Jiangnan and Chang'an are retained to highlight the contrast between natural scenery and the feeling of being a stranger.
