English

When separation has lasted too long, reunion is truly no longer fitting.

Not out of oblivion, nor out of rancour.

If you come back, I ache, for I know the one who returns is not the you of old.

If you do not come back, I also ache, for I am still waiting for a you who will never return.

Therefore, when we meet once more, what surges first into the heart is not the thrill of affection, but sour anguish.

I have no wish to meet again anyone from whom I have parted along life’s path.

For we have missed so much of one another’s grace and beauty.

We have attained full appreciation for one another, yet shall journey toward separate futures, fated never to intersect.

Now that we have parted, to dwell within one another’s memories is the finest reunion.

English

Growth is the gradual process of letting go of chaos, people‑pleasing, obsessions and grievances. It is not fortune that reshapes your life, but repeated conscious and self‑determined choices.

Livro

Always remember life is like a book. Some chapters will break you, some will make you smile and some will change you forever. Every page, whether good or bad, is a necessary part of your story that shapes who you are today. So never close the book too soon, because the best chapter of your life is yet to come.

Life Theory

Life: We cannot choose our starting point, yet we decide which path to take.

Suffering: Much hardship comes from comparison. Learn joy amid adversity, and sweetness shall follow hardship.

Fatigue: Physical tiredness is ordinary; mental weariness mostly stems from obsessions. Only letting go brings ease.

Affection: Family bonds, friendship and love are karmic blessings earned through many lives; do not betray them.

Striving: Busyhood is the remedy for all ills. Idleness often breeds worries.

Character: A noble character carries you far. Noble‑minded helpers and blessings will follow.

Caráter: Um bom caráter permite‑te ir longe; encontrarás frequentemente pessoas benévolas e serás acompanhado de bênçãos.

Reduction: Most worries arise from excessive desires. Happiness lies in subtraction.

Cherish: With those who treat you sincerely, do not argue over right and wrong. Treasure them while you are together.

Death: Dust returns to dust, earth to earth; nothing of this world can be carried away.

Closing thought: Do not complain or grow resentful. Cherish the present, cultivate good character, lessen desires, accept fate — then this life shall not have been lived in vain.

English

Four realms of life cultivation:

The lowest realm: saving money and keeping early hours.

The second realm: reading and self‑discipline. Draw on others’ wisdom to broaden your own perception, and turn the truths you know into real actions.

The third realm: doing good and being alone. Remain kind amid the chaos of the world, and calm your soul when away from the bustle.

The highest realm: restraining anger and resentment. Do not let fleeting emotions ruin long‑lasting bonds, nor punish your present self for what has already happened. Accept all with composure, and treat everything with equanimity.

English

Three most profound reflections of the year:

For noble kinship: uphold one another behind closed doors; never lay bare domestic strife for outsiders’ mockery.

For noble marriage: stand united against the hardships of the world; never turn inward to torment one another within home walls.

For noble parent‑child bond: stand beside the child to confront difficulties, rather than align with troubles to confront the child.

English

Lately I have slowly come to grasp a plain truth.

Take good care of yourself, and the world will belong to you.

Storms are heaven’s will, yet joy lies within you.

Cherish your body; health shall always come first.

Keep moving forward. Eventually a ray of light will emerge,

illuminating all your seasons through spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Preserva o teu corpo; a saúde será sempre a prioridade.

Continua a caminhar em frente. Por fim, um raio de luz surgirá,

iluminando todas as tuas estações, primavera, verão, outono e inverno.

Confidence, discipline, heroism, insight, self‑control, judgement of people, restraint, choice and moral bottom line.

To learn, to learn through words and deeds. Gratitude once again.

Português europeu

Segurança interior, normas, heroísmo, visão, autocontrolo, capacidade de avaliar as pessoas, discrição, escolha e limites morais.

English

In mathematics, there is a beautiful term called summation,

a regretful term called no solution,

a lonely term called assume existence,

a distant term called unknown number,

a powerful term called if and only if,

and a sorrowful term called infinitely close yet never intersecting.

Yet in multiplication, if one factor is zero, no matter what the other number is, the product will always be zero.

Too much

If you speak too much, you will lie.

If you think too much, you will be depressed.

If you cry too much, you will lose your sight.

If you care too much, you will be taken for granted.

If you trust too much, you will be betrayed.

If you work too much, you will die of stress.

If you make up too much, you will lose your beauty.

Don't be too much, because that too much can hurt you so much.

话说得太多,难免会说谎;

想得太多,终会内耗抑郁;

哭得太多,损耗身心;

太在乎,就不被珍惜;

太信任,容易遭遇背叛;

过度操劳,被压力消耗;

Priorities in Life | 人生的優先順序

1

Self-discipline, not medical treatment, stands as the core of health.

It is wiser to sustain wholesome daily routines than to turn to medicine only after falling ill.

2

Forward planning, not reliance on children, is the soundest safeguard for old age.

Your children bear their own life burdens; you must not pin all hopes for your later years on them.

3

Reflection, rather than mere experience, drives genuine personal progress.

Experiences void of reflection are nothing but fleeting illusions.

4

The true value of learning lies in practical application, not the sheer accumulation of knowledge.

Knowledge gains real significance only when applied to real-life scenarios.

5

Reading serves to elevate your cognition, not merely to stockpile words in memory.

Genuine reading sharpens your insight into all matters and nurtures inner maturity, far beyond memorizing chunks of text.

6

Responsibility, not fleeting romance, upholds a lifelong marriage.

Romance fades as time passes; only responsibility can sustain an enduring bond.

7

Humility, not ostentatious sharpness, is the supreme wisdom of interpersonal conduct.

An overly abrasive temperament wounds both others and oneself. Humility and restraint let you tread a steadier, longer road through life.

8

Market demand, not personal fondness, forms the core of entrepreneurship.

Launching a venture solely based on personal preference risks total financial loss.

9

Risk control, not high yields, is the cardinal principle of investment.

Blindly chasing excessive profits will easily drag you into severe hazards.

10

Happiness, not worldly success, is life’s ultimate pursuit.

Success never guarantees happiness, yet happiness is life’s most invaluable treasure.

11

A stable financial foundation, not affection alone, constitutes the core of a family.

Affection needs nurturing, while daily living demands material support. Steady finances secure a tranquil home; lasting kinship relies on joint dedication from both spouses.

12

Self-improvement, not empty busyness, is the prime rule of workplace living.

Many people fill their days with trivial labour without advancing their competence or self-worth, ending up trapped in stagnation.

13

Mutual reciprocal goodwill, not pure friendship alone, sustains long-lasting social ties.

Relationships without shared mutual interests seldom endure the test of time.

14

The core mission of education is cultivating practical competence, not chasing high exam scores.

Students with outstanding grades yet weak practical capabilities will struggle to adapt to society in the future.

15

Self-mastery, not attempts to alter others, is the highest level of self-cultivation.

Changing another person’s nature is nearly impossible. Governing your own emotions, words and deeds embodies true maturity and wisdom.

16

Cherish precious connections instead of forcing yourself to cling to those who disregard you.

People who truly value you will never drain you with strenuous efforts to maintain contact. Never sacrifice your own peace repeatedly for those who fail to appreciate you. Learning to let relationships evolve naturally eases inner unrest and brings peace of mind.

17

Right direction, not speed, is life’s most vital choice.

Speedy advancement does not equate to a far-reaching journey. Picking the correct path matters more than blind labour; efforts carry meaning only when you march toward the right direction.

Supplementary Wisdom: Grow Quietly Without Fanfare

18

Build strength in silence and mature without showing off.

Do not broadcast your ambitions to everyone before achieving success. Human nature is complex: some envy your progress, mock your flaws, or fear your coming achievements.

Guard your tongue strictly: never reveal your goals, flaunt your wealth, overshare family affairs, or dwell repeatedly on past missteps. Keeping these four matters private keeps gossip and trouble far from you.

19

Never confide your secrets to others casually.

Your closest friends have their own separate social circles. The best self-protection is to stop overestimating how important you are in other people’s hearts.

20

Limit posts on social media when there is no essential matter to share.

Those who live overly ostentatious lives will sooner or later invite unnecessary troubles.

21

When waters run deep and winds rage fiercely, speak little until you possess solid inner strength.

Enrich your inner self before displaying your talents. Without adequate capability and wisdom, restrain impulsiveness and embrace quiet reflection. This spares you unnecessary disputes and builds enduring self-confidence for the future.
