From Partida......to..... Peki gdumplings

This is the word I saw in the exit gate of the Macau Border, where we leave Macau and enter into China.

This place is very important for the people leaving/entering into Macau.

My question is Macau claims itself as international city, why there is no English for the non-Chinese and non-Portuguese visitors.

Interesting enough, few days ago, my colleagues told me that in a Portuguese newspaper, a reporter found out that there are a lot of mistakes for the Portuguese words everywhere, from the shop name to the advertising board - that means for Portuguses, they don't understand what 's that.

At the same time, my friend told me her observation - a shop which sells Beijing dumplings - the English name in the advertising board is:

Peki gdumplings

It is definintely not for the English people to read - one may never understand what is it!

This is Macau.
