Friday Night - Rua Cinco de Outubro

Friday night, after the dancing class, it was almost 10 clock, walked home and passed by the Rua Cindo de Outubro.

This used to be a busy street with a lot of shops when I was small. But now, even though during the day, the business is so slow and there are not many passengers.

Though at night time, there are several eating shops/hawkers around, one can choose from noodles, congees, rice, Chinese meals to snacks, and also the Chinese herbal tea. It seems that many people have the habit of mid-night breakfast. I would see people eating or waiting to get their take away.

However, when entered into the area near Ponte 16, it was a different story, no walker at all.

May be all people used to go to the area near the main street, thus the inside area was so quiet.

Then back to "San Ma Lou", in the area of the Largo Senado, it was another different story, there were still plenty of visitors and people hanging around there.

But I can tell, it is totally different with the big city's Friday night like Hong Kong's Causeway Bay.

Macau is still Macau, in certain sense, people still enjoy quiet nights, or I should say - we still don't have many things to do for Friday nights, I guess.
