It is not the first time this has happened, and although the novelty of planking has worn off, in Macau it has remained – especially when it comes to showing one’s dissatisfaction.
Around 20 people planked yesterday outside a CTM store demanding better services and compensation for the May 14 blackout, as the company did after the February service meltdown.
Local media reports quoted telecommunications regulator Lawrence Tou Veng Keong as saying it is up to CTM to decide whether or not to compensate its customers for the two-hour network blackout.
CTM has handed in a preliminary report on the incident, citing human error for causing the blackout.
