This is the time for the car/people using the road of "San Ma Lou", in front of the fountain/IACM.
During the day, the cars can continue using the road for 42 seconds, while the pedestrians can cross the road during the break of another 22 seconds.
During busy hours, especially lunch hour, I can always see people trying to catch the time to cross the road in front of IACM.
Just from the zebra crossing, I can tell a lot of people's behaviour on observing the rules.
I have a few times watching some dangerous illegal crossing, not to mention that many of times, they were from our mainland visitors.
To the pedestrians, especially the Macau residents, is 42 seconds too long to wait???
Today, I saw two students tried to catch the last 4 seconds for the zebra crossing, however, they were not using the official zebra road, but far away from the pedestrian crossing.
They ran fast and tried to step over the iron string which separate the road with the pedestrians, however, one fell on the ground.
Even though he could stand up after the falling, it seems that he was hurt.
It was really dangerous, I wish the school can also teach the students the rules on using the roads.
Sometimes I can see students' bad manner when using the bus, such as do not enter the back seat area, not line up in the bus station (this is a issue that the transportation company or the government department should find a solution to guide the passengers to do so)
We should also pay attention on the education of using public facilities/utilities, otherwise Macau can only be considered as a developing place only.
