It is located in the HK Victoria Park. Actually, yesterday was the first day of the fair, and it will go on until 4 January 2010.
It was very crowed, because it was Saturday afternoon. This is the first time I went to see the fair.
The fair sells a lot of HK brands and HK products, but I can also see plenty of non-HK products, I can only say, HK is acting as an agent and imports a lot of varieties of food and products from Japan, Malaysia, Korea, Singapore, China..... also, there is a location for the products of Kui Kei's Chinese Cookies (鉅記).
The entrance fee is only HKD10, but for the senior citizens, I can see they were very happy, for many of them joined together and had a lot of fun to identify the most valuable products in the fair.
There are a lot of marketing strategies: bundling of products, free shopping bags, gifts, plenty of salesman to follow, in order to get more business. During the fair, not only to sell more of the products, but also promote their products/services.
As we are now in the Christmas season, and the season for shopping, therefore people also would like to buy a lot!!
