According to the calendar,
Friday was the last day of work for 2011,
working hard to catch up the outstanding work,
at the same time,
in order to celebrate the New Year,
ate lunch with colleagues together to share some nice food in a fine Chinese restaurant,
dim sum, and some dishes like crispy chicken, vegetables, noodles and rice,
with the desserts,
the meal was very great,
except the service of the waitresses was in a mess.
When we ordered the drinks individually,
the beautiful Chinese waitresses just couldn't serve the drinks in correct order!!
For the dinner,
went to IFT for the buffet dinner,
which we had reserved about 4 weeks ago.
It was really a wonderful buffet dinner,
the environment and the service were very excellent.
When entering into the restaurant,
I was filled and touched with the Christmas spirit.
Thought the student waiters/waitress are still in their training process,
they show a lot of enthusiasm to serve.
The appetizers were very good,
I liked all kinds of salads,
and the lobster soup;
there were not many choices for the hot dishes like the 5 stars hotels,
but the hot dishes were very typical Portuguese/Macanese style,
I like them very much -
the clams in wine,
the barbecued Portuguese sausage,
the duck rice,
turnip cake,
vegetables,
stewed sweet and sour pork in Macanese style,
some deep fired snacks,
rice etc.
For desserts,
I was greedy,
I wanted to try all kinds of traditional Portuguese Christmas desserts on the table,
pudding, bolo rei, cake.....
with a tiny portion of each,
but still they made up a lot.
I was quite full,
but with the temptation of the home-made ice-cream,
I also ate the grape fruit ice-cream and chocolate ice-cream,
very special,
so great !!
