Portuguese Passport Renewal

As my Pourtuguese Passport is going to be expired very soon, searched over Internet and can't get any useful information, thus I sent an e-mail to check, I didn't expect that the people over there replied within just one working day !!!  Also, I  realised that I could make a preliminary booking........ Information is as follow per the e-mail information:

interested party may book a preliminary booking for Passport renewal either by telephone ((+853) 83948137) or e-mail (info@macau.dgaccp.pt). It is requested that the applicant provides us with his full name, current Passport nº and expiry date, the National Citizen Identity Card nº and expiry date and the contact nº. After providing us with the aforementioned information the applicant will be informed about the next available date for Passport renewal.

You may find the list of the necessary documents for the Passport renewal procedure below:

 Passport Renewal

- Current Passport and respective copy (with no more than 6 months of validity).

- Current National Citizen Identity Card and respective copy (valid).

- Macau I.D. Card and respective copy or Hong Kong I.D. Card and respective copy.

- Consular Immatriculation Card (only applicable to the holders of this Card).

                                                        - Current address in Portuguese or English.

Note: * Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by one of the parents and submit both parents documents of identification. BICN are required by parents with Portuguese Nationality. In case of divorced parents, the minor should be accompanied by the parent who owns the Parental Right, proof of which should be submitted during the application.

** Be reminded that in order to renew the Passport the applicant must hold a valid National Citizen Identity Card.
