B is going to leave Macau, he has been in Macau for about 15 years.
In his eyes, Macau has been losing its lovely elements.
He always complains of the environment and the pollution - noise, light, air and even though water - we get salty water every winter season! During holidays and weekends, there are crowds of visitors everywhere, it is not the same Macau like 10 years ago.
C also agrees with that, she feels sad for the Portuguese community is getting smaller and smaller.
She has been here for 30 years and she considers Macau is her second hometown. She loves Macau, but she would like to go back as all her family members are in Portugal, including her son and daughter. She chooses to stay here because her husband loves Macau - he is a Macanese, with two or three generations here!!
One additional comment I heard from them - both of them said that their expenditures on food cost more than ours. As whenever they buy food in the market, even though they are treated nicely, the prices are possibly higher than ours - they are "Kuai Lou" !!
I think the reason is that both of them don't speak Cantonese!!
