Met V this afternoon, he was busy on taking care of his clients - it seems that they are not Chinese, therefore I can tell - he works as a tour guide for a group of people travelling back to Macau.
I think he is very qualified to be a tour guide, because he is a very patient man and he is calm and nice to the people. Besides, he knows a lot about China, especially the "Chinese Way" in mainland China.
With his characters, previous working experience and hardworking, he will definitely become a professional tour guide.
Wish him a good success in this field!!
2010.2.12
Had a drink with V, started to realise that he had completed all the courses to be a professional guide, and he did work very hard to prepare for the qualification test ( there are not many people who can pass this examination).
Enjoyed the talk very much, as he had a lot of experience of dealing with all kinds of travellers from abroad, e.g. from India, Singapore, mainland China; he can see a lot, including their cultures and their perference.
I can tell he is not a normal guide, but a very professional guide to give his heart to serve the customers. He shared the happiness that once he got good compliment from a large Singapore group.
At the end of the trip, in the airport, the customers appreciated a lot of his effort to make them have such a wonderful stay in Macau, then after saying good-bye, about the time they were waiting to get in the aeroplane, he received a thank you SMS, and then few days later a thank you card.
It is nothing related the money can compare!!
I am really proud of this buddy.
Very Well Done !!
