Yam Cha in Porto do Sol

Lunch with the colleagues in Porto do Sol of Hotel Lisboa.

I always have a good expectation of the food in this nice restaurant, except the service is a little bit slow- e.g. we ordered the coffee ( for the Portuguese!!!) after the meal, my boss had a comment that they needed to go to Brazil to get the coffee beans.

Since we had two large tables, one was the Portuguese speaking table, the other one was the Chinese speaking table, we had different kinds of Dim Sum.

Fortunately(??) and unfortunately, I sat with the Portuguese speaking table: except the shrimp dumplings, crab-meat dumplings, we had plenty of deep-fried dim-sum !!! Even though the deep-fried Wan Dan in sweet and sour sauce, the spring rolls, stirred fried beef with pasta, it was really an oily lunch!!!

My boss also enjoyed his barbecue pork buns, he had two, but I didn't take any of the buns, as this was not on my list.

I think it is kind of different cultures, for us, Chinese, we like to eat steamed dim sum or the other kinds. But for the Portuguese, they have different preference !!!
