The Consumer Council has indicated that it has recently received complaints regarding suspected price hike across several supermarkets.
The influx of complaints came after the electronic consumption vouchers come into service, on May 1st.
Several supermarket chains were slammed across social media platforms for allegedly increasing their price tags since Labour Day.
The Consumer Council said they’ve already met with the involved supermarkets, alongside the Economic Bureau, and were given promises to improve upon the issues.
