The first champion of "True Beauty" has been crowned in the season finale airing Monday, February 22. Former Miss Teen Texas and magician assistant, Julia Anderson came first as the person who has the "entire package", good look and inner beauty. Julia beat software salesman Joel Rush and vitamin store owner Billy Jeffrey who are in second and third place respectively.

"This is definitely the second chance that I've always wanted and I finally found true beauty, I did it," Julia commented on her win. "I finally found myself and I won the competition. I feel like a winner in every way possible, honestly." For one thing, Julia confessed to a dark past as a teenager.

Julia excelled in the secret challenges that the judges had reserved for the final three. In the photo shoot section, the finalists were required to take down their clothes to pose with a towel only. This created a dilemma, especially for Julia who was afraid that it may jeopardize her dream of being Miss America. Joel, on the other hand took it rather easy, saying "Whatever the case may be I'm completely comfortable with that. My entire workout regimen is to look good naked, and I've completed my mission there." Nevertheless, all three won the challenge due to the "beautiful pictures".

People magazine executive editor Jess Cagle meanwhile, provided another secret challenge to judge on the finalists' inner beauty. She interviewed each of them, failing Joel who said "When you run with dogs you get fleas" when asked whether he has any unattractive friends. Julia meanwhile chose to open up about her public intoxification citation in the past and said that it's important to take pride in what you look like.

Julia therefore is entitled to a 100,000 dollars cash prize as well as an interview and pictorial of her in the upcoming "Most Beautiful People" issue of People magazine. Her winning promise is recorded in a video interview with People.
