Watched this movie long time ago, at that time, I didn't have any deep impression for the story, and could not understand why there were refuges in the world.
Later on, I met one friend Y, she arrived Macau from Vietnam and we became friend, and we both went to visit the kids in the referee camp every week in Kao Ou of Coloane. At that time, I started to know their hardship.
I also remember one college friend who told me her story - struggling to go to US to pursue study, dreamed for changing her fate.
We should appreciate of everything what we have, for things may not come easily.
Even though in Africa, some people are still facing war and instability in their life.
Anyway, I like this movie, for I like both the main actor and actress.

越南青年胡越乘难民船来到香港。与友会面。胡在难民营中看到特务杀人的情景，赶紧逃出难民营，匿居一公寓中。友安排他再偷渡到美国，途中，胡越爱上了同属偷渡者的越南少女沈青。飞机在菲律宾转站，胡越为了从偷渡集团中救出沈青，不惜替唐人街老板钟仁当杀手，并结识阿三。但当胡越想同沈青远赴美国，要求脱离钟仁时，后者却设计了一个陷阶，想把他消灭。结果，沈青与阿三中弹死去；胡越在杀了钟仁后，乘着一叶扁舟在大海中漂泊。
