Join us and we’ll uncover the history and explore the sites of Australia’s cultural capital. Your friendly and knowledgeable Melbourne tour guide will give you insights into the people, places and events of this city.
From the State Library we will explore Melbourne’s beginnings and development from its founding in 1835 right up to the major developments that have made Melbourne the world city that it is today. We’ll also cover things to see and do, the lane ways, art, cafe culture and hidden bars so you can experience Melbourne like a local, especially those that are free, to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Join us EVERY DAY at 10:30am and 2:30pm at the statue of Sir Redmond Barry in front of the State Library of Victoria.
