柳絮隨風各西東，人生聚散本無蹤。
今朝一別天涯遠，何日相逢月下中。
往事塵煙隨夢盡，浮生冷暖與誰同。
惟將心事託雲雁，寄與相思幾萬重。

柳絮逐風飄零，人各分馳；浮生相逢離散，向來飄渺無蹤。
今朝揮手遠隔天涯，未知何年何月，能再共賞清光月下。
前塵往事盡如煙靄，隨幻夢消散；這世路飄搖的悲歡冷暖，又有何人共擔？
只好將滿懷愁緒託付雲間飛雁，讓牠捎去千層萬疊綿延不絕的相思。
Willow catkins drift on wind, to east and west apart;
All mortal meet and part, leave no trace on earth.
Today we bid farewell, wide worlds divide our way;
Beneath the silvery moon, when shall we meet someday?
Old tales fade into mist, dissolved in transient dreams;
Who shares life’s chill and warmth, all its sad extreme streams?
I lay my heart’s soft woe to geese that cleave the cloud,
To carry thousand folds of longing, endless, unbound.
Os capuchos do salgueiro voam com o vento para leste e oeste;
Os encontros e separações humanas não deixam rastro sobre a terra.
Hoje nos despedimos, separados por distâncias imensas;
Quando nos reencontraremos sob a luz serena da lua?
As lembranças antigas, como fumo, desvanecem em sonhos fugazes;
Com quem partilharei o frio e o calor desta vida errante?
Confio todo o meu pesar aos gansos que cruzam as nuvens altas,
Para que levem milhares de camadas de saudade, sem fim nem falta.
