Poem - Unforgettable

Unforgettable - Poem by Ronald Chapman

Across the vast ocean of space and time,
In a dream of my home,
From so very long ago.

Unforgettable memories flash before my Soul,
Afraid, many times thinking,
I will forget you.

Still, with eyes wide open,
I see you in the Eastern sky at dawn,
Unable to forget a dream.

Memories of you,
Like vivid paintings,
Of cherry blossoms floating on a silver mirrored pond,

Looking at the paintings,
Unable to dry the tears,

Still,

I endure this life because of you,

An unforgettable dream.
