Paper Boats

I learned the above famous poem when I was in junior high school,
though it was long time ago,
when I read it again,
I still appreciate the nice poem written by the author.
Following is my simple translation:

I would never waste or throw away any piece of paper,
I always try to keep all of them,
and fold them into many tiny boats,
then put them carefully into the sea along my ship.

Some were blown away by the window of my ship,
some were beaten by the waves,
got wet and sticking on the upper part of the ship,
I was not discouraged,
and still keep on folding my paper boats everyday,
just wish that one of them could reach the place I want them to go.

Mother, if you see a tiny white sail in your dream,
don't be surprised of it entering into your dream.
This is your loving daughter making it for you with her tears.
Even though we are apart with seas and mountains,
I beg the boat could carry my love and sorrow to you.
