What a Tourist City!

Hot summer time,
with a lot of tourists in the Largo Senado area,
the crowded streets remind me the time when I was in Santorini,
that means the places are just for the visitors.

This afternoon,
when I was waiting for the transportation back from Venetian to Macau,
I was among a lot of mainland visitors,
it seems that Venetian didn't have a good management on the allocation of the resources,
on the busy weekends,
with a lot of tourists,
for every 20 minutes,
only a small bus with 20+ seats for transportation to the Nam Yuen Pier,
which is closer to Largo Senado,
the heart of old town Macau,
as a result,
the queueing line was extremely long,
the people were getting angry,
when the bus came,
all the people in front rushed to the bus,
trying to get in the bus as quick as possible,
it was really chaos.
all of the people there were mainland visitors,
the bus was quickly overloaded,
thus , the driver asked the people without seat to leave,
however, no one did so,
the staff and the driver called the security guards and explained to them,
the bus could not leave with overloaded passengers.
still, all the people inside the bus kept on sitting,
nobody came out even though the other bus came.

I was in the second bus,
and got in and left the crowded place,
don't know the outcome of the people in that bus.

My father commented that -
the place is like Gongbei,
I was inspired by his comment,
yes, Macau is really a mainland city,
it is not an internaitonal city,
in terms of the quality of the people (visitors) here.
