Danny在科技產業當PM，有一次外籍同事問他，案子的進度如何。專案進度是提前的，他找不到進度提前的字眼，就說了

It's going in advance.

外籍同事以為他沒聽清楚，又問了一次

How's the project going?

他只好找一個安全性說法：

It's going well.

我們發現，很多專業人士，用英文介紹產品、公司甚至談價格時，都還算琅琅上口，但一遇上談進度就顯得左支右絀，其實這都是少了一點訓練。熟記這9句話，進度一點都難不倒你：
進度超前

1. We're ahead of schedule.（我們進度超前。）
2. We're a week ahead of schedule/time.（我們比預定時間早了一周。）

按計劃進行

3. We're right on target.（我們正按計劃進行。）
4. We're matching the timetable. （我們進度剛剛好。）

進度落後

5. We're running a little behind.（我們有點落後了。）
6. I am so behind in my work.（我工作進度落後許多。）

再來一些變化

7. It’s 80% done.（已經完成8成了。）
8. We're halfway there.（已經完成一半了。）
9. There must be no further delays. The deadline is next Friday's close of business.（不能再延後，最後期限是下周五下班的時候。）

此外，問人專案進度時，可以這麼說：

1. What delivery date are we looking at？（甚麼時候交貨？）
2.What time frame are you looking at？（你看整體專案的時程是怎樣？）
3.Is there any way to get the project back on schedule？（有沒有辦法讓案子回歸進度？）
