Tried to remember, any special previous Dragon Boat Festival........
So far, can only remember the one in 11 June 2005 - when I was teaching in China for a month ( so great that I wrote the journal during the trip. My memory is getting bad, that 's why I need to write the blog).
In the village, they didn't have any celebration, accidentally that day, one student's mom invited us to go to her house to have lunch, nothing related to the festival, she said she wanted to appreciate our work.
However, at last, she was so busy and forgot, we waited for over some time and at last we passed by the house and talked with the student. He said he ate already and his mom was in the field.
We acted there was nothing happen.
No rice dumplings, no special dishes, just a normal day, but we ate in the village private kitchen - a small restaurant.
