《竹枝詞》

楊柳青青江水平，聞郎江上踏歌聲。
東邊日出西邊雨，道是無晴卻有晴。
📜淺釋
楊柳翠色蒼蒼，長江水面平靜無波，
江面上，傳來心上人踏浪而歌的聲音。
東邊艷陽高照，西邊卻落著細雨，
說是沒有晴日罷，卻偏偏又有晴光。
（詩裡「晴」諧音「情」，一語雙關，似惱似喜，暗指對方情意似有若無。）

Willows fresh‑green, the river smooth and still,
upon the stream I hear my love’s song ring.
Sun shines in east, while westward falls a thrill
of rain — no sun? And yet there is sun‑beam!
(Pun: “sunshine” stands for “affection” in the old verse.)
