① 浣溪沙 · 游蘄水清泉寺

山下蘭芽短浸溪，松間沙淨雨無泥。蕭蕭暮雨子規啼。

誰道人生無再少？門前流水尚能西！休將白髮唱黃雞。

Sand‑Washing Stream

Beneath the hill, young orchid shoots bathe in the brook;

Beneath pines, sand lies clean, rain leaves no mud to look.

Dusk drizzles fall; the cuckoo’s call shakes the still nook.

Who says youth cannot return to mortal breath?

Before the gate the stream still flows against its death.

Sing no mournful ballads of old age and whitened hair.

Riacho Lavado pela Areia

Ao sopé da colina, jovens rebentos de orquídea banham‑se no riacho;

Entre os pinheiros a areia está limpa, a chuva não deixa lama no chão.

A chuva do entardecer cai suave, o cuco solta o seu lamento.

Quem afirma que a juventude não pode regressar?

À porta, o riacho ainda corre rumo ao ocidente.

Não entoes cantos tristes sobre os cabelos brancos e a velhice.

莫聽穿林打葉聲，何妨吟嘯且徐行。

竹杖芒鞋輕勝馬，誰怕？一蓑煙雨任平生。

料峭春風吹酒醒，微冷，山頭斜照卻相迎。

回首向來蕭瑟處，歸去，也無風雨也無晴。

Calming the Storm

Heed not the rain that beats through woods and leaf;

Why not chant verses and walk on at gentle pace.

Cane and straw sandals out‑weigh the horse’s pride. Who fears?

A straw cloak bears the misty rains of all my days.

Chilly spring wind dispels the fumes of wine, a faint chill stirs;

Slanted sunlight from the hill comes forth to greet my stirs.

I gaze back on the bleak, storm‑beaten track I trod;

Home I go: no storm remains, no radiance of god.

Não dês ouvidos à chuva que golpeia as folhas na floresta;

Por que não recitar versos e caminhar num ritmo sereno?

Bengala e sandálias de palha são mais leves que um cavalo. Quem tem medo?

Uma capa de palha enfrenta as chuvas nebulosas de toda a vida.

O vento fresco da primavera dissipa o efeito do vinho, trazendo um leve frio;

O sol oblíquo do cume vem ao meu encontro.

Olho para trás, para o caminho sombrio e tempestuoso que percorri;

Regresso a casa: já não há tempestade, nem brilho solar.

飛來山上千尋塔，聞說雞鳴見日升。

不畏浮雲遮望眼，自緣身在最高層。

At cockcrow, men behold the rising sun’s first light.

I fear no drifting clouds that veil my outward sight,

For I myself stand firm upon the loftiest height.
