人望高處,尋找一份更有利自身發展的職位,本是無可厚非。只是有時候,面對共事多年的上司與同事,的確不知怎樣告知他們,你即將要另謀高就了。上星期簡單說明了應該怎樣向老闆開口辭職,今個星期講講如何寫辭職信。
在辭職信中,有些人不願把自己真正辭職的理由寫進文中,字裏行間也看不到任何蛛絲馬跡,感覺極其公式化及客套,少了點人性;相反,有些人卻把自己多年在工作中的怨氣及屈辱,通通寫在信中發泄,希望人事部或高層知道上司的惡行。你不會天真的以為,人事部和管理層一直不知道公司裏發生的大小事吧!
這種做法,其實等於自毀前程,可能會讓你失去潛在及有價值的關係。Dont burn your bridges!,即是說「凡事留一線,日後好相見」。說不定在未來的日子,彼此也會在職場有碰面的機會。這星期就看看一些辭職信常見句式吧。

1. It is with regret that I submit my letter of resignation as (position). My last date of employment will be on (date).
很遺憾我去(職位)的工作。 我的最後上班日期為(日期)。

2. By this letter, I am resigning my position as (position), effective (date).
我寫信目的是通知你我要辭去(職位),並在(日期)生效。

3. As of (date), I will be terminating my employment at ABC Company. I have allowed (period) prior to my departure for assisting in the transition process.
我將於(日期)正式辭去我在ABC公司的職位離職前會有(時期)幫助交接工作。

4. I appreciate the opportunity to work and learn at ABC Company.
